Walking down the streets of Downtown LA one of the many things I’ve noticed about fashionable people is that it’s not just their clothes and good looks that exude style, but the way they complete their image with accessories.

Like fashion, the forms, silhouettes and hues of accessories change with time, being a millennial every day is a change and having an idealistic and unique style can be hard to find. Usually the coolest trends are the hardest to find, its seems like everyone has that favorite outfit that they wear on a daily and it might seem plain Jane, but utilizing your grandma’s vintage wool hat, or those new  ankle cut Chelsea boots fresh off the runway, can be combined to create the perfect outfit that has something old, something new and someone like you. Investing in some new and fun, trendy accessories can emphasizes your wardrobe for the season even if it’s not your taste, trends change and you will grow to use it in your fashion. 

Apart from Hats, Handbags, Shoes, and scarfs, one of the most delicate and powerful accessory most women would agree should be part of their outfit is jewelry. After the years jewelry has been the “it” fashion accessory that                                                                          enhances the appearance of one’s inner self.

 Anyone who has an idea of fashion understands the  importance of matching an accessory like jewelry, with his/her outfit and learns to create a unique look. It’s important to choose the right piece of jewelry to wear that is adequate to the occasion. In a professional environment, one needs to wear very light jewelry like small earrings, a bracelet and pendants. Something that shows class and sophistication.

Heavy and bulky jewelry is suitable for occasions like weddings, anniversaries and social parties.  It is said that the beauty of a woman is personified with the right type of jewelry. Adding a jewelry to your wardrobe can easily promote you to the next level of style and make you feel better about the way your look.

Women are not the only trendsetters of this time. Gone are the days when jewelry was thought to be a women thing. Modern men too wear various types of jewelry like rings, bands, bracelets and even chokers that bring an impressive and unique look which shows spunk and personality.

Most men wear jewelry to show off how much money they have and others just because they want to be up in the trend. Honestly all that matters is that you feel comfortable and confident sporting your unique fashion sense. Although trends change every year and they seem to come and go,  it is sure to say that jewelry  will always be an important part of human lives. 

Maybe next time you take a walk Downtown LA be a little curious, open your eyes wider to and imagination. Try and explore what others wear, you never know who can inspire you to come up with your own fashion style but always make sure you start with their shiniest object.
